Religion Verses God

The difference between religion and Christianity is how they came to be. Religion is basically man's view about how to reach God while Christianity is God's revelation about Himself reaching out to man. In the beginning from the time of God's creation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God revealed himself to man. From that time forward for several generations, people knew about Him from some of those people who talked about Him and from some personal encounters with Him as well. By the time of the world flood in Noah's time, many people had decided not to follow God and followed their own ideas or certain religions that had been established. The Bible tells us that at that time the world was filled with man's wickedness and violence. From a beginning of holiness and peace there was now chaos. Today it is the same, wherever God is not truly worshiped, there is violence and war and no real peace. More wars have been begun and fought in this last century then at any time in the past around the world. When Jesus returns, He said it would be like the days of Noah, which means violence and no real peace because most people will not be following God although they could still be religious.

An Overview Of The Bible

The Bible is the biography of the creation of the universe and the plan for mankind to ultimately be together with God in his Kingdom. The Bible is divinely inspired and thus it has unique characteristics of historical accuracy and prophetic content as no other book has. The more a person reads the Bible their faith and understanding of God will increase. God has promised that His word will never fade away and will stand forever.

The first book of the Bible is "Genisis" which is beginning of everything and the last book is "The Revelation" which is about the end of all things. From the beginning and throughout the Bible until its end, the focal point is Jesus, the Christ (the Annointed One", who was sent from God to live as a man as a sinless savior. He was ressurected from the dead and acended back to God and has been given the right to rule a kingdom to come which will be the ultimate kingdom making him "King of Kings" and "Lord of Lords."

This blog will tell about the ways of the Kingdom and encourage those who seek the right way to follow Jesus. Welcome to the great journey that has a narrow path that leads to the streets of gold in the heavenly city called , "The New Jerusalem."

Jesus Is The Savior Of Mankind

All men have sinned since Adam and Eve did so in the Garden of Eden. We die because of sin and so every man and woman is responsible for their own sin. God, in his plan for mankind, sent Jesus to be born as a man who could die for us. Jesus was born by a supernatural act from God to a virgin, a young woman named Mary. Since Jesus had no earthly father he did not inheirt any of the sinful nature that all other men recieve from their fathers since Adam. Being sinlesss, Jesus was able to die as a substitute for men so that he took their sins allowing them to be free from the curse of death. Because Jesus died sinless, God was able to raise Him from the dead to live as the lord and Savior of all men. This is why God can offer eternal life with Him in heaven to those who repent of their life of sin and accept Jesus as their Savior. Salvation for man's sins can only be found in a sinless Savior who is Jesus the Christ (The Annointed One).
